Minutes from the Home Repair Committee Meeting on March 19, 2007 at The Works CDC.
- Funds not there to support home repair so the committee decided we needed to backup and revisit purpose of the committee
- Gather data from CBANA to support the need for funding home repair
- Focus attention on critical need repairs such as electrical, plumbing, and roof
- Curtis and Sutton will speak with TK about synthesizing data from actual neighborhoods
- Identify particular neighborhood types such as historic, distress, transitional, etc. to identify the most common repairs needed in those neighborhood types
- Research grant and loan funds for home repair
- Sutton will discuss the possibility of PPC working with CD Council to establish a Housing Trust Fund
- Gathering data is the first priority for the committee
