The Senate has on its agenda the Foreclosure Prevention Act of 2008 (S. 2636), introduced by Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid (D-Nev.) We thank Senator Reid in working collaboratively with Senators Dodd, Durbin, Schumer, and Baucus to draft this legislation which would help strengthen America?s economy, keep people from losing their homes, and help preserve our communities. We've learned since sending out our alert on Wednesday that Senator Murray is very supportive of this bill. We applaud Senator Murray?s efforts to ensure that the bill is as strong as it can be to help stabilize neighborhoods in her capacity as HUD Appropriations Subcommittee Chairwoman.
We look forward to the full Senate deliberating on, and passing S. 2636 and urge all Senators to vote for it.
Best way to show your support.
Vote on this legislation and have your vote sent directly to your reps.
